US CPI Data - April 10
The US inflation data for March came in higher than expected.
- Headline CPI: Increased 0.4% monthly and 3.5% annually. This is up from February’s 3.2% annual increase.
- Core CPI (excluding food and energy): Also rose 0.4% monthly and 3.8% annually, matching February’s reading.
- Key Drivers: Housing and gasoline prices were the biggest contributors to the increase.
This data suggests inflation is rising slightly, which may impact Federal Reserve decisions on interest rates.
XABCD Pattern of NASDAQ Futures shows 17600

As per the Harmonic XABCD pattern, Nasdaq Futures should show a profit booking till 17600; about a 4.7% correction from the top. If so, the Nifty should come down to 22315 at least. This figure is based on Nasdaq only. US CPI for March is 3.5%, expected figure was 3.4% as mentioned above. It was 3.2% in February. Today is a holiday for Indian markets. If the calculation is correct, expect a big gap down on Friday (12-04-2024). Nifty is now trading around 22490 after reaching close to 22400 as per Gift Nifty. The low VIX (11) in the Indian market poses a problem for option buyers. According to the current situation, VIX is also expected to increase.
നാസ്ഡാക് ഫ്യൂച്ചർ 18200 ൽ നിന്നും റിട്ടേൺ പോന്നാൽ 17600 വരെ വരാൻ സാധ്യത ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു (ഹാർമോണിക് XABCD പാറ്റേൺ). ടോപ്പിൽ നിന്ന് ഏകദേശം 4.7% കറക്ഷൻ. അങ്ങനെ വന്നാൽ നിഫ്ടിഒരു 22315 വരെ എങ്കിലും വരണം. ഇത് നാസ്ഡാഖിനെ മാത്രം ആശ്രയിച്ചുള്ള കണക്കാണ്. മാർച്ചിലെ US CPI 3.5 % ആണ്. ഫെബ്രുവരി മാസത്തെ 3.2% ആയിരുന്നു. ഇന്ന് ഇന്ത്യൻ മാർക്കറ്റ് അവധി ആണ്. കണക്കുകൂട്ടൽ ശരിയായാൽ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച (12-04-2024) വലിയ ഗ്യാപ് ഡൗൺ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാം. ഗിഫ്റ്റ് നിഫ്റ്റി പ്രകാരം നിഫ്റ്റി ഏതാണ്ട് 22400 നു അടുത്ത് വരെ എത്തിയശേഷം ഇപ്പോൾ 22490 നടുത്തു ട്രേഡ് ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇന്ത്യ വിക്സ് താഴ്ന്നു നിൽക്കുന്നത് (11) ഓപ്ഷൻ ബയേഷ്സിനു പ്രശ്നം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. നിലവിലെ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ വിക്സും കൂടുമെന്നു പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
Bank Nifty Future
US CPI data will be reflected mostly in Bank Nifty. Expect a good fall in Bank Nifty. An ‘M’ pattern has formed in the Bank Nifty future. Its target can be 42300.
