Nifty50
Nifty opened on the important daily support of 21470-500 today and bounced immediately. Nifty is closed at 21725 with day high of 21740. Next important resistance in Nifty is 21840 and there is a gap above 21850 till 21970. According to the Harmonic ABCD pattern, Nifty shows a target of 22050.
Two Important Economic Events Tomorrow, 01-02-2024
1) Federal Reserve in the United States does have some events scheduled:
- 11:00 AM ET: Speech by Governor Christopher J. Waller titled “Economic Outlook” at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. You can watch it live on the Federal Reserve’s website.
- 1:00 PM ET: Release of the Commercial Paper report.
- 4:15 PM ET: Release of the H.10 report on foreign exchange rates and the H.15 report on selected interest rates.
2) Vote on Account
Instead of presenting a full budget, the outgoing union government seeks parliamentary approval for interim funding through a Vote on Account (VoA).
Both the events will have a greater impact on the share markets tomorrow. So expect a volatile session ahead with wild to and fro moves. Only experienced persons do trades during such events. It is a good opportunity for ‘hedge traders’ as tomorrow is the weekly expiry for Nifty also.
